Feh, the bat things were way too easy. We took them out in no time. One grabbed onto my neck, and two onto Skyld's neck. I helped Skyld free himself, nobly letting the bloodsucker on my own neck keep sucking my blood. By the time I freed Skyld, the one on my neck was full, and detached itself and started to fly away. There was NO WAY that thing was going to get away full of my blood. I grabbed Kayla's bow, jumped out the window, nocked an arrow, and let fly. The thing exploded in a cloud of my blood.

HA!!! HAHAHA!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Everyone was very impressed with my shot. Especially Xuxu. If she were only bigger.

So, we kept exploring the house. Well, except for Spark and Xuxu, they kept flying around. Maybe they're looking for the invisible gnome that doesn't exist. Who knows?

So, Skyld ends up in the kitchen. Then he yelled. "There's something in the kitchen!"

We all came running, and I ran into the room with my axe. Oh crap! It had an axe too. Well, a cleaver. The thing said something about dinner not being ready (no kidding) and then attacked my with its cleaver. OW!!! OH SHITE!!! That really hurt! It hacked into my shoulder with its cleaver, really hard. That's it, this thing is toast. I hacked and hacked it until it stopeed moving. Then I hacked it a few more times.

After that, we looked around the kitchen. Mmmmmmm. We found some serious wine in the pantry. Oh yeah! Party tonight! It's good wine too. It's from my ancestral estates, which now belong to that traitor Fralstap. A Frendefield '52. Mmmmmmm.

We also found some stairs leading up, but decided to wait until morning to check it out. We've had enough for one day. Wine calls.

I cleared out the well of some dead creature who had fouled it with its rotting corpse. For some reason, the rest of the group didn't want me to clear the well. How could the well ever be useful again if it wasn't cleared?

We drank a lot. Kayla used her wand to heal me up a bit. We drank more. We didn't drink all the wine, but we emptied about six bottles, and only a few of us were drinking.

The next day we decided to try and get to the attic. The stairs we found were no good. They only led up to the end of the hallway on the second floor. Well, it's the ghost or we leave... ... ... The ghost.

Shigara and Xuxu did most of the work. They kept pounding it with magic bolts and magic fire. I tried to stab it with a magic dagger we had found, but it only nicked it a bit, and the rest passed through. Useless. But, it was torn asunder by Xuxu's last spell. Nice work Xuxu.

We checked out the attic, and didn't find anything but some cloth. Spark had put a hole in the roof trying to get in another way. Great idea, but now there's a hole in the roof.

We packed up the cart, and went home.
