This is a placeholder log in case our resident logmaker doesn't end up making one. This is written by the DM

The party stayed in town for a few months to prepare some items and do some research into their newly developing powers. In late eighthmonth they heard some rumors about the Ebonring Keep being recaptured by friendly forces. They decided it was time to finally make the trip. They acquired their provisions and started out.

The main road proved fairly safe for the first part of the journey. But, after the party took the fork in the road toward the keep, the road became rough, and showed the lack of maintenance in recent years. After a day on the road, the trouble began.

The party came across a battle between a group of rhodin, some bandits, and a rapidly dwindling number of farmers. The party predictibly weighed in on the side of the farmers, and soon killed or maimed the bandits and the rhodin. True to form, they healed and interrogated one of the bandits, but found out nothing of worth. They healed the farmers left alive, and gave them the loot from the bodies. Then they continued.

The following day, they were set upon by a group of hungry devil dogs. The dogs were soon to become carrion, with the party no worse for wear. Then they continued.

They were about a days journey away from the Keep and decided to rest for the night. Roksha took second watch and stood staring into the night. When he heard a noise in the brush, he felt a sense of pending doom. He started shouting and started to nock an arrow.

Suddenly he saw Sniktari charging at him with claws extended. Roksha realized as the Sibbecia got closer that he wasn't Sniktari, but not in time to fire. The Sibbecai slashed Roksha pretty hard, and by the time he got his arrow nocked, he was slashed again. Roksha was hurting pretty bad, but he got a few shots in before his throat was slashed, and he was left for dead.

Meanwhile, Gur and Iryi are still sleeping. Sniktari and Dain had woken up but were groggy. They fought back for a while, but were soon injured to badly and fell unconsious.

Luckily, as Dain and Snik fell, Gur and Iryi woke up and started fighting. They managed to finish off the three Sibeccai, and stabilize the rest of their party just in the nick of time. Uncharacteristically, the party left the sibbecai to die. Sniktari had recognized the group as the last remaining members of his pack. They were clearly being dominated.

There's been a double watch set ever since.

They managed to make their way to Ebonring keep without any other major problems. When they arrived, they were taken immediately to see Irianna who is the administrative ruler of the keep.
